So a student comes to the website and books a slot with you. What happens from there?

Getting an email
Firstly, you’ll get an email that a student has booked a slot with you like this:

Viewing the student profile

When you get to the “Bookings” section of your account dashboard, you are able to view the student’s information by clicking on their name. This will allow you to see information to help you understand the student’s needs – along with a link to their Google Drive (if they’ve provided it), helping you access any documents to be reviewed in the meeting.

Approving the appointment
After this, you can head on over to the Dashboard > Bookings, where you need to approve the appointment.

Setting up the meeting
Once the appointment is approved, you must let them know how to meet you via an online meeting, with Zoom, Google Meet, or otherwise. You can do this by clicking the “Add/edit meeting details” button & setting up a meeting for that particular date & time.


Remember to set link all your meetings to your Calendar, such as within Google, so that you don't miss them. You can do it simply through Google Meets, which will automatically store it into your calendar and remind you on the phone if you have that email on there!

Once your meeting is complete, the student will mark it as such from their end, and the platform will register it. In the meanwhile, your payment will be safe with Qalam until you issue a withdrawal (which has a minimum amount of PKR 5000).
